Volunteer Week – Pointe-Claire recognizes the work of its volunteers

On the occasion of National Volunteer Week, April 14 to 20, 2024, the City of Pointe-Claire wishes to highlight the contributions of its dedicated volunteers, whose efforts make a profound difference in the community.

This year’s theme is “Every Moment Matters”, which highlights the importance of every action, no matter how small, in shaping the fabric of society. Mayor Tim Thomas and the Councillors take this opportunity to express their gratitude and admiration for the selfless individuals who devote their time and energy to various causes and initiatives in Pointe-Claire.

From organizing community events to supporting vulnerable populations, volunteers play an essential role in strengthening the sense of belonging and cohesion within our City.

The City of Pointe-Claire invites residents to take a moment to thank the volunteers who are making a difference in their lives and in their community. Whether through a simple gesture of gratitude or by getting involved in volunteer opportunities, everyone can play a part in recognizing and honouring the invaluable contributions of these volunteers.
