Bring your picnic and spend the day by Lake Saint-Louis! There will be many enjoyable activities at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and Art Gallery.
Activities will be maintained in the event of rain.
Ten artists meet at Stewart Park to create experimental and ephemeral artworks. The landscape will be dotted with their playful creations focusing on the idea of territory. The Pique-Nique Collective was formed in 2001 to carry out projects outdoors, investing new spaces other than the usual visual arts venues.
A guide with specialized knowledge introduces the contemporary art exhibitions at the heart of the Geopoetics project.
Performance on the public piano – Mimi Blais
Ragtime music is a way for Mimi Blais, the new Queen of Ragtime, to reveal her many talents as storyteller, communicator, singer, comedian and composer. This talented pianist makes audiences laugh and cry with her moving interpretations.
Through five audio clips, Audiotopie composers provide an immersive experience of the soundscapes of five Canadian regions: the Maritimes, central Canada, the high Arctic, the Prairie and the West Coast.
