Updated May 15, 2020

A permit is required to use the boat launch at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park from June 15 to September 15, 2020. A limited number of permits are available. Permit requests can only be done online.

Pointe-Claire residents have first priority to purchase a permit from May 20 to June 3 at a cost of $22. After June 3, a second permit for the same address may be obtained for $45.

Non-residents may purchase a permit for $143. Non-resident applications will be processed as of June 4.

A proof of residence with a photo and the registration for the trailer used to pull the boat will be required at the time of application.

In order to allow residents to use more than one vehicle to tow their boat, the permit is associated with the boat trailer. If the registration shows that the trailer is registered under a company name, an official letter must be written on company letterhead stating that only the person holding the licence is authorized to use it.

The permit should be placed close to the trailer hitch. An $11 fee will be charged to replace a lost or damaged permit.

For any change of boat and/or trailer during the season, the permit holder must remove the permit sticker and return it to the City along with the receipt. A replacement fee will be charged ($11).

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that due to the high water levels on Lake Saint-Louis and government measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the application period for boat launch access permits has been postponed to a later date.

As in previous years, the permit application period will first be open to Pointe-Claire residents and then to the general public.

This year, permit applications will be made online, on the City’s website. Details will follow.
