Call for caution when travelling

Due to the temperature variations, rainfall and snowfall over the past several days, we urge you to be more cautious when travelling on foot or by car.

The drop in temperature overnight and the accumulation of snow and rain on our roads and sidewalks have created icy surfaces throughout the city, making travel more dangerous.

Since the beginning of the precipitations, our Public Works teams have been carrying out snow removal operations and spreading abrasives on all City streets, including main roads, side streets, sidewalks, and parking lots, in order to improve road conditions for everyone.

Snow removal operations are continuing today in order to remove ice and snow on street curbs and sidewalks.
