Celebrate the season at the annual Winter Ice-Breaker event

The Mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, is pleased to invite residents to the annual Winter Ice-Breaker event, which will take place at Northview Park on Saturday, January 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“This is an opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of winter with family and friends. Everyone is invited to join us at this fun event that brings us all together and offers plenty of activities for all ages,” stated Mayor Belvedere.

Participants can enjoy horse-drawn wagon and dog sled rides, while children can have fun with inflatable games and face painting.

Residents can admire the ice sculptures created on site and participate in an art workshop in the snow organized by the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre.

Spectators can gather around the skating rink at the park to watch pre-novice hockey matches throughout the afternoon and encourage our young athletes who love this popular sport. Hockey matches will be cancelled if the weather is not suitable for outdoor skating.

Hot chocolate will be served to keep everyone warm, and a food stand will also sell a variety of items on the menu.

Everyone is invited to join us at Northview Park, 111 Viking Avenue, starting at 11 a.m.
