COVID-19 – Changes to the municipal service offer to limit the spread of the virus

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you of changes to the municipal service offer following the recent provincial government announcements to limit the spread of the virus.

Indoor public sports and leisure activities: online reservation

As of Monday, December 20, the maximum capacity for indoor public activities at the Aquatic Centre and the Arena will be reduced to a maximum of 25 people. Given this, the online reservation system via LUDIK will be restored. Online registration will be mandatory before participating in public activities offered at these facilities.

Cultural activities: limited number of participants at performances

As of Monday, December 20, performance hall capacity will be reduced to 50% of normal capacity. Note that these restrictions do not apply to the Library.

Virtual public meetings

As of January, public meetings will be held without the presence of the public and will be available as a live broadcast and a recording on the City’s website.

Vaccination passport

The vaccination passport is still required for entering the Aquatic Centre and the Arena at each visit, and the Cultural Centre for certain activities, for everyone 13 years of age and over, and must be accompanied by photo ID for everyone 16 years of age and over.

Thank you for continuing to be prudent.
