Cultural Rendez-Vous – Spotlight on Art

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, invites residents to the Cultural Rendez-Vous on May 25 and 26 at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre. The theme this year is Spotlight on Art.

“Every spring, nearly 2,000 residents come together during this highly popular Cultural Rendez-Vous to enjoy a wide variety of outdoor workshops and cultural activities for the whole family,” stated Mayor Belvedere.

The entertainment planned throughout the two-day event is as varied as it is creative. Everyone can take part in interactive tai chi and Zumba demonstrations, as well as art, science, giant bubbles, and circus workshops, to discover new talents. A motor skill activity zone will be set up especially for children under the age of five.

Artisans will share their know-how during skill demonstrations, while local producers will showcase their products at the country market.

Through a series of exhibitions focused on the theme of light, participants will get a sneak peek at the Lumina project, which will take place from July 7 to August 24.

Activities are free and take place on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre (176 Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road).
