Earth Day 2021: An invitation to take care of your neighbourhood!

The Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Committee and the City of Pointe-Claire invite citizens to take action in their neighbourhood to protect our environment, to mark Earth Day.

On Saturday, April 24, bring gloves and garbage bags to one of the city’s green spaces, the bike path near your home or even one of your favourite public spaces to beautify your environment by picking up any trash that might be there.

We also invite you to take part in the activities planned as part of Earth Day. For all the details, visit: https://www.pointe-claire.ca/en/2021_leisure-winter-2021/#block-6

The City is pleased to be able to count on its community’s ongoing commitment to sustainable development, as evidenced by the continuous improvement in its waste management record. In 2019, it ranked second among the 16 cities on the Island of Montréal. The city is proactive and continues to support everyone’s involvement in protecting the environment for the benefit of current and future generations.
