Update: Flooding – Reopening of Cartier Avenue and the Edgewater parking lot

Traffic on Cartier Avenue south of Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road and access to the Edgewater parking lot are now restored.

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that Cartier Avenue south of Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road and the Edgewater parking lot are closed due to high water levels and strong winds forecast this evening.

The City is constantly monitoring the water levels in Lake Saint-Louis, and all response equipment and teams are ready in case of flooding. The minor flood level is 22.33 metres and the water level was 22.26 metres at 1 p.m. today.
