I shop in the Pointe-Claire Village!

The mayor of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, and the members of City Council invite citizens to participate in the Pointe-Claire Village Association’s “I shop in the Pointe-Claire Village” campaign.

“Let’s stand united and support our local shops and boutiques to revive our economy after the forced break due to the pandemic. We encourage you to participate in large numbers!” Mayor Belvedere said.

The campaign begins today and run until September 4 on the La Ruche website. During this time, gift certificates will be available at participating village stores. A $20 gift certificate becomes $30 to spend in the shop of your choice, as well as a $20 donation to the West Island Community Shares organization, which will donate part of the funds raised to AMCAL Family Services, located in the Pointe-Claire Village.

This crowdfunding campaign is a partnership between the Pointe-Claire Village Association, the Ville de Montréal, Desjardins, La Ruche, PME MTL West Island and the City of Pointe-Claire aimed at encouraging shopping in the Pointe-Claire Village in an effort to revive the local economy affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
