On Saturday, January 18, Pointe-Claire residents are invited to enjoy winter fun with an Ice-Breaker Day, a winter carnival offering a host of outdoor activities for all.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., children and adults alike are expected in large numbers at Northview Park to enjoy the inflatable games, face painting workshop and dog sled rides. There will be hot chocolate for everyone, and snacks available for purchase at food stands.

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to express their creativity as part of a collective snow castle building activity.

At 6 p.m., there will be tales and legends for the adventurous types who are curious to discover Terra-Cotta Natural Park in a different light. Its welcoming trails will be open to all during a lantern hike that is sure to offer thrills around every corner. Bring your flashlight to better explore!
