Ice removal on streets and sidewalks
The City wishes to inform you that the ice removal on streets and sidewalks is in progress and will be continued until the coat of ice resulting from the precipitation and temperature variations of the past few weeks is removed.
These operations are being performed on the major streets with a grader and an ice crusher to make travel safer for everyone.
The work will continue in school zones during Spring Break from March 4 to 8.
It should be noted that ice removal can only be done once all snow removal and abrasive spreading operations are completed, throughout the territory.
