City acquires new electronic billboard

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, Morris Trudeau, is pleased to announce that Pointe-Claire’s second electronic billboard is now in operation on the corner of Saint-Jean Boulevard and the eastbound service road on the south side of Highway 40. The new billboard will ensure a wider audience for the City’s messages.

This improvement is directly related to one of the objectives of our strategic plan, which is to promote our strengths through better communications with residents,” says Mayor Trudeau. “We now have an added way of broadcasting general interest messages, information about our events, activities and news, and important deadlines.”

The billboard can also be used to broadcast relevant information in real time during emergency situations such as a disaster or accident. It is an effective way of following and handling a situation as it develops.
