Last bulky and upholstered item collections of the year

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to remind you that the last bulky item collection for 2019 is on Wednesday, October 2, and the last upholstered item collection is on Wednesday, October 2, for sector A, and Thursday, October 3, for sector B.

Here are a few guidelines:

  • Your items must be placed curbside, at the end your driveway, after 6 p.m. the day before or by 7 a.m. on the day of the collection.
  • For each address or multi-unit building, a maximum of 10 items, or the equivalent of 5 cubic metres, is allowed.
  • Sharp or potentially dangerous items must be made safe (e.g., remove nails, screws or other)
  • Items should be tied together in bundles to avoid them getting scattered and to facilitate removal

Bulky and upholstered items are also accepted at the Ecocentre, which will be open on Saturday, October 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 50 Terra-Cotta Avenue. This is the last day the ecocentre will be open in 2019.

Citizens of Pointe-Claire also have access to the agglomeration of Montréal ecocentres, which are open all year round. The closest eco-centre is located at 3535 Rue Sartelon, Saint-Laurent.
