New Pointe-Claire public art advisory committee – Call for nominations

The City of Pointe-Claire is currently seeking candidates to serve on the new public art advisory committee, which will be responsible for issuing recommendations to support the enhancement and promotion of the works already displayed on its territory and developing public art projects in collaboration with the community.

Harnessing the potential of public art as a community development tool, reinforcing citizens’ sense of belonging to their environment and their city, and enhancing and embellishing the public space through artistic endeavours are central to the mandate of this new committee.

This committee will meet four to five times per year to make recommendations on the City of Pointe-Claire’s various public art projects.

To apply, you must be a resident of Pointe-Claire and have an interest in art.

The deadline to submit your application is February 11, 2020. Your application must include a cover letter and an updated résumé.
