Non-expanded polystyrene (number 6 plastic) – Pilot project complete

Starting May 1, 2018, you must place non-expanded polystyrene (number 6 plastic) in the household waste collection again.

Our partner in the project is currently analyzing the procedure, and the City remains open to the possibility of a permanent recovery system.

You can still place expanded and extruded polystyrene in the collection point located at 50 Terra-Cotta Avenue. In order to be recycled, waste must be placed in the correct bin. For the list of accepted materials, check the Waste Collection Guide or the Collections page.

Thank you for your cooperation in this sustainable development project.
