Announcement of the winning houses in the outdoor decorations contest

Over the last few weeks, Pointe-Claire residents have shared photos of their outdoor decorations with the community. The photos were posted for everyone to see in a photo album on the City’s Facebook page.

The City of Pointe-Claire thank the families who have brightened up our evenings with decorations and shared beautiful photos of their efforts. The decorations put up by Pointe-Claire residents have brought cheer to our neighbourhoods. Thank you for participating in large numbers and inspiring the community.

We are pleased to announce the winning houses:

For their participation, three houses won gift baskets with products from local stores, in a random draw:

Bayview Avenue, District 2 Lakeside
Chemin du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road, District 1 – Cedar / Le Village
Aurora Avenue, District 4 – Cedar Park Heights

A fourth house won the gift basket for receiving the greatest appreciation from Pointe-Claire residents and is the 2021 coup de cœur.

Coup de cœur prize – Queen Avenue, district 3 – Valois

The City will contact the winners in the next few days.

November 26 to December 19 – Outdoor decorations contest

The City of Pointe-Claire invites you to participate in the outdoor decorations contest by sharing a photo of your outdoor decorations to inspire the community. And you could win a prize! All of the photos received will be posted in an album on the City’s Facebook page.

Citizens are invited to send in the best photo of their decorations between November 26 and December 19. You have until Sunday, December 19, at 11:59 p.m. to submit your photo. By participating, you will be automatically entered in a draw for three gift baskets of products purchased from local stores. A Coup de coeur prize will also be awarded to the house that received the most “likes” (thumbs up and hearts)! The winners will be announced on the City’s Facebook page the week of December 20, 2021.

Please send in your photo by private message on the “Ville de Pointe-Claire / City of Pointe-Claire” Facebook page, indicating your name and address. Photos will only be identified by street name. By submitting a photo of your outdoor decorations, you authorize the City of Pointe-Clare to reproduce this image on its platforms for publicity purposes, without compensation, and to indicate the house number and street name.

The contest is open to citizens of Pointe-Claire only. The City reserves the right to exclude any photo deemed inappropriate. Any photo submitted becomes free of copyright.
