Patrice Langlois named Assistant Director of Territory Management

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, Morris Trudeau, and members of City Council, are pleased to announce the appointment of Patrice Langlois as Assistant Director of Territory Management for the City of Pointe-Claire.

Mr. Langlois is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. In recent years, he has worked at Université de Montréal as a project and engineering manager, where he oversaw both project and contract management for the university’s seven campuses and implemented new practices in both of these areas.

Prior to that, he worked for a consulting firm as Vice President and Project Manager for twelve years, where he provided professional and technical services in infrastructure design, construction, financing and operations. During his tenure, he managed various projects for major corporations and institutions including the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), Sainte-Justine Hospital, VIA Rail, the Port of Montréal and Pratt & Whitney Canada.

“His experience in spearheading multiple projects of varying degrees of complexity will contribute to the successful implementation of our current and future projects here in Pointe-Claire,” said Mayor Trudeau.

“As part of his job, Mr. Langlois will be overseeing the projects of the engineering, buildings and public works departments. His expertise is a valuable asset for the City of Pointe-Claire, both in terms of ensuring the continuous improvement of our services and maintaining and optimizing our city infrastructures, such as public buildings, networks and equipment,” added the Mayor.

The appointment of Mr. Langlois was confirmed during the City Council meeting on August 1 and he will assume his duties on September 5.
