Private connection work on Du Bord-du-Lac ― Lakeshore Road

Street closure and interruption of drinking water supply

The City would like to inform you that Du Bord-du-Lac ― Lakeshore Road will be closed to traffic from August 16 to 20, between De Lourdes and Du Golf avenues, for private connection work. As part of this work, the drinking water supply will also be interrupted on Wednesday, August 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for certain addresses in Pointe-Claire Village.

The following addresses will be affected by the interruption in drinking water supply:

  • 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 23A, 24, 25, 28, 30 and 31 Sainte-Anne Avenue
  • 290, 294, 296, 298 and 300 Du Bord-du-Lac ― Lakeshore Road

Distribution of water is planned for Tuesday and Wednesday during the day for the addresses affected by the interruption in drinking water supply.

Once the supply has been restored, a boil water advisory will be delivered to the addresses. In the event of cloudy or coloured water following the resumption of service, let the cold water run until it is clear.

Detours will be proposed to road users. Local traffic will be permitted to enable deliveries to stores located close to the work area.

Sidewalks will remain open, with the exception of a section on the south side of Du Bord-du-Lac ― Lakeshore Road, at the intersection of Sainte-Anne Avenue.

Thank you for your cooperation.
