Reminder about peddlers
The City would like to remind residents that a permit for peddling or solicitation services is required for all door-to-door sales of goods or services.
This reminder is necessary because some residents have received offers to have their drains inspected in their residence.
You can contact the Inspection – Public Security Department at any time (514-630-1234) if you have any questions.
An inspector can also visit your home to confirm if a private company has the permit required to operate in the city.
