Renew your MULTI Card now

Already over 18,500 cards issued

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, Morris Trudeau, and members of City Council are pleased to announce that residents can now renew their MULTI Card.

With over 18,500 cards issued since January 2016, the MULTI Card is a resounding success with residents, who can take advantage of the many benefits it offers. Valid for two years, this free card is a proof of residence and is required to register and participate in all activities offered by the City.

“The MULTI Card is part of our ongoing efforts to provide residents with optimal services. We are pleased with the ever-growing number of people who have joined this project that allows them to have easy access to many services offered by the City,” stated Mayor Trudeau.

Among the benefits of the MULTI Card, it can be used at the Library to loan up to 50 documents, and to reserve and renew online.

At the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre, MULTI Card users can obtain priority passes for workshops and events. They can also attend free trial classes.

At the Aquatic Centre, residents can show their MULTI Card to enjoy free recreational swimming on Saturdays and Sundays and every day for seniors at specific times.

At the Bob-Birnie Arena, public skating is free at reserved times.

The Public Works Department also offers free services, such as the Ecocentre and the distribution of trees, compost, and kitchen cones. It also offers a special rate for household compost bins and rain barrels. Boat launching permits can be obtained at the Inspection – Public Security Department.

To renew their MULTI Card, residents can go to the Central Library, the Aquatic Centre, or City Hall three months before their card expires. A photo will be taken of all family members age 6 and up. Recent proof of residence and the current MULTI Card must be shown. The card will be renewed for a period of two years.

Pointe-Claire residents who have not yet obtained their MULTI Card can also get their first card at the locations listed above. Proof of identity and proof of residence are required.

There will be a prize draw every month among numbers of renewed MULTI Cards.

“We encourage residents to renew their MULTI Card in order to continue to take advantage of all benefits and services offered,” said Mayor Trudeau in conclusion.
