Search by material – A new tool to help with waste management
The City is proud to present a new online search tool to help residents find the best waste management practices.
“Pointe-Claire is one of the best cities on the Island of Montréal in terms of waste management. Our community commitment to sustainable development shows the importance we place on protecting our planet. This online tool was created to make it easier for residents to understand the best practices by identifying the right source separation,” stated Mayor Trudeau.
Available at www.pointe-claire.ca/search-by-material, the search tool is simple, user-friendly, and easy to use.
Keyword searches are used to determine the best way to sort the waste in question from a wide range of suggestions. The results recommend various options and indicate where and when you can dispose of your waste, as well as how to proceed.
