Terra-Cotta Park chalet extension

Service improvements

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform residents that extension work at the Terra-Cotta Natural Park is underway to improve the infrastructure and enhance service for everyone.

“This improvement falls in line with our 2015–2019 Strategic Plan. It aims to promote use of our infrastructure by residents, providing even better suited facilities for families, sports enthusiasts and people with reduced mobility,” said Mayor Morris Trudeau.

The work underway will double the total area of the park’s chalet with the addition of locker rooms, bathrooms, a kitchen and a meeting room. With this extension, the chalet will have a total area of 600 square metres, a great plus for not only our municipal services, but also all our sports associations.

Renovations to the current building are also planned for compliance with universal accessibility standards, not to mention roof repairs, air conditioning system replacement and painting.

“Come spring, everyone will be able to enjoy these improvements, which enhance our service offering while keeping maintenance costs down and which guarantee that our public facilities remain in good repair,” says Mayor Trudeau.
