Start of excavation work on Cartier Avenue

The work to complete the reconstruction of Cartier Avenue, which began last year, will resume on Tuesday, May 22 at the intersection of Salisbury Avenue and Highway 20. The work consists of rebuilding the roadway and sidewalks, developing a bicycle path, and installing an electronic billboard.

The intersection of Salisbury and Cartier Avenues will be closed to traffic, except for one southbound lane from Highway 20. Northbound traffic will be redirected onto Sainte-Claire, Waverley, and Lakeview Avenues, as well as Saint-Jean Boulevard. As requested by the Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports (MTMDET), work planned at the intersection of Highway 20 will take place during the night on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

This interruption will be in effect for approximately six weeks.

The completion of all phases may be affected by weather conditions.

Thank you for your cooperation.
