The Art Rental and Sales Service’s 2017 collection now available for purchase and rental
The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce that the 2017 collection of the Art Rental and Sales Service is now available at the Stewart Hall Art Gallery, for either purchase or rental of the works of art.
“It’s a unique, affordable way to make works of art accessible to all our citizens,” points out Mayor Trudeau.
Every year since 1967, a professional jury has been selecting works of art for the Art Rental and Sales Service. Among nearly 450 works submitted to the jury in 2016, 113 pieces, created by nearly 80 artists, have been chosen and made available to the public.
“Once again, the collection highlights the quality, diversity and originality of our artists’ work,” states the mayor.
The works, whether paintings, drawings, prints, photographs or even mixed media, are for sale, but also available for rent starting at $6 a month. It’s an ideal way to decorate an interior or a work space.
The collection can be viewed on the City’s website at the Art Rental and Sales Service page.
The Art Sales and Rental Service is located on the second floor of the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre at 176 Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road.
