Update – Water main break on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Avenue in the village

Update: September 9 at 15:45 p.m.

The water main break on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Avenue has been repaired.

Drinking water may be coloured due to water pressure variations in the water supply system. We recommend letting the water run for a few minutes before using it.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Information provided at 14:25 p.m.

Our teams are working to repair a water main break on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Avenue, corner Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road. Water service has been shut down in the area in order for repairs to be completed.

The following addresses are without drinking water: 300 to 340 Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road and properties on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Avenue.

It is possible that drinking water for nearby homes and businesses will be coloured due to water pressure variations in the water supply system. We recommend letting the water run for a few minutes before using it.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
