Wednesday, April 1 – The door-to-door collection of bulky items is maintained
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform residents that the door-to-door collection of bulky items scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, is maintained.
Here are some guidelines to follow:
- Your items must be placed curbside, at the end your driveway, after 6 p.m. the day before or by 7 a.m. on the day of the collection.
- For each address or multi-unit building, a maximum of 10 items, or the equivalent of 5 cubic metres, is allowed.
- Sharp or potentially dangerous items must be made safe (e.g., remove nails, screws or other).
- Items should be tied together in bundles to avoid them getting scattered and to facilitate removal.
Mattresses, sofas and armchairs are not accepted as part of the bulky item collection. These items will be picked up in a separate collection. For details, visit the Mattresses, sofas and armchairs page.
