Work by Ville de Montréal – Redevelopment of the water production plant

Ville de Montréal will begin work to redevelop the water production plant, located at 243 Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road, on August 3. This work is part of the plan to bring water production plants in the agglomeration of Montréal up to safety standards, and will take until December 2021.

Part of the municipal parking lot located in front of the plant will also be occupied by trailers and a storage area. Access to the lot will be maintained at all times. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work may occasionally be required in the evenings and on weekends.

In September, Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road will be closed to traffic between Victoria and Brunet avenues. More details on this closure will be communicated at a later time.

No water shutdown is planned, and this work will have no impact on drinking water quality.

This work may be postponed or extended due to weather conditions or other constraints.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
