Yearly event brings people together in a lively atmosphere

More than 500 seniors expected at Spring Luncheon

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, Morris Trudeau, is pleased to announce that the 17th Seniors’ Spring Luncheon will be held on April 20 and 21, under a marquee tent in the Bob Birnie Arena parking lot at 58 Maywood Avenue.

“Year after year, our seniors really enjoy this friendly event,” says Mayor Trudeau. “The Spring Luncheon is an opportunity to meet, share a meal in good company, and remember good times in a festive and enjoyable atmosphere.”.

More than 500 seniors are expected to attend the luncheon, jointly organized with the Pointe-Claire Oldtimers Hockey Club. In addition to the meal, participants will enjoy a musical show, perform on the dance floor and maybe win a door prize.

“Once again this year, people are invited to come celebrate with friends and family and make this a memorable edition of the Spring Luncheon,” says the mayor.

Tickets are on sale for $11 at 94 Douglas-Shand Avenue. For more information, contact the Recreation Department at 514-630-1214.
