Zone 50 – Postponement of the entry into force

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform citizens that the entry into force of zone 50 street parking is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This zone was created to promote access to street parking for Pointe-Claire residents around the Cedar, Pointe-Claire and Valois train stations given the work underway to develop the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), as well as the closure of the Mont-Royal rail tunnel used by commuter trains on the Deux-Montagnes and Mascouche lines.

Residents who have obtained a permit must keep it until the zone is re-established. The permits will be valid for two years from this new date. The issuing of new permits is suspended until further notice and street signs will be removed until the zone is re-established.

Thank you for your understanding.
