The electronic version of these by‑laws or the office consolidations of them are provided for the purpose of publicizing the by‑laws that are applicable across the city’s territory. A by‑law can be amended, repealed or replaced at any time by the municipal council. Only certified true copies are official; in the event of a discrepancy between a text posted on the website and the original contained in the municipality’s by‑law book, under the control of the City Clerk’s Office, the latter shall take precedence. The City declines all responsibility for the use or interpretation of the posted by‑laws.
