Upholstered items

Upholstered items are collected on Wednesday and Thursday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., alternating between sector A and sector B.

A few rules

  • Items must be placed near the road after 6 p.m. the day before the collection or before 7 a.m. on the day of the collection itself.
  • Items should not weigh more than 100 kg (220 lb.), and the maximum acceptable size is 1.8 metres (6 feet) by 1.8 metres (6 feet).
  • For each household or multiunit residential property, there is a maximum of 10 items, or the equivalent of 5 cubic metres, per collection.
  • Whenever possible, cushions should be tied up together.

Accepted items

  • Cushions
  • Mattresses, box springs
  • Sofas, armchairs
  • Upholstered chairs

Some furniture stores will pick up your furniture and upholstered items when delivering new items. Ask about it!

Upholstered articles can also be taken to one of the Ecocentres for recovery.
