The City of Pointe-Claire wants to inform you that following the receipt of a $25,000 grant from the Government of Canada’s Commemorative Partnership Program, restoration work to the cenotaph structure will be carried out. This monument is located at the back of the City Hall and commemorates the men and women fighters who served Canada during wartime.

During the work, the cenotaph will be moved from its base and placed on the ground. It will be reinstalled in the fall of 2023, once the base is restored and strengthened. Note that due to the equipment and maneuvers required to move the structure, the park will not be accessible on May 30, 2023.

Thank you for your understanding.
