Inspired by the atypical architecture of the Stewart Hall Art Gallery situated on the edge of the lac St-Louis, artist Andréanne Abbondanza-Bergeron uses industrial materials to create an installation that occupies the entire exhibition space. Paired with a recent series of photographs and in connection with the process of spatial exploration already undertaken by the artist, Breakaways evokes with elegance and force the water, its flow and movement, and inspires reflection on nature, its beauty, and its fragility.
