Majestic trees with flayed silhouettes, ambient fog, shadow creatures or luminous spirits, this is the enchanted setting that inspired Brahms his Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano. The German composer brings together three instruments he played in his early childhood, and which flourish in a musical setting of a romantic nature. OSM musicians Catherine Turner and Alexander Read join pianist Pamela Reimer to display their virtuosity and transport you into this magical world!

Alexander Read, violin; Catherine Turner, horn; Pamela Reimer, piano

Works: Robert Schumann, Three Romances, op. 94 (arr. for horn); Clara Schumann, Three Romances for Violin and Piano, op. 22; Johannes Brahms, Trio for Horn, Violin and Piano op. 40
