Summer Evenings in the Park Festival
Makaya, named after one of Haiti’s tallest mountains, is a Creole jazz quintet. Created in 2006, this ensemble performs music that is essentially instrumental and acoustic. Winner of the Vision Diversité award, in 2016 Makaya released the album Elements, confirming its position as “a real hope in Creole jazz.”
