Trio de l’Île: Tchaikovsky and Haydn – Two monumental works

The Trio de l’Île invites its audience to a concert full of colours and contrast! Come experience the melodic drama found in Tchaikovsky’s music. His monumental trio, written “in memory of a great artist” is one of the great masterpieces in chamber music, full of both intimate and virtuosic moments. A century earlier, Haydn composed one of his most famous rondos, the Hungarian Rondo, one of the great works of the classical era!
