Mélisande Mcnabney: The Women Of Versailles – Harpsichord Recital
Description
The court of Versailles was one of the rare places to employ woman musicians in the baroque period. However, if we take a closer look, we can occasionally come across a mention of a celebrated woman harpsichordist, like Miss Certain or Marie-Rose Dubois. In this harpsichord recital, Mélisande McNabney enters their universe and retraces their history in music.
