Les ombres claires (Light Shadows) is a permanent legacy of the City of Pointe-Claire, marking the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. The five totemic shapes are perforated with icons inspired by the specific territorial aspects of our region: silhouettes of plants, fish and birds, the blades of the windmill, and the railway create a play of shadows on the ground resulting from changes in natural light.
