Reminder: Detours due to construction work on Du Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road

Update: August 19, 2024

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to provide clarification regarding detour routes due to the construction work on Du Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road, more specifically regarding the temporary detour strictly reserved for STM buses. Du Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road is closed between Ovide and Hillside Avenues until October 30, 2024.

To enable STM buses to operate in the area during the construction work period, a bus-only access lane was created north of Ovide Park via Lakeside, Hillcrest and Bayview Avenues. For safety reasons, this narrow, single-lane passage is strictly reserved for STM buses. During the construction period, a second lane is reserved for vehicle parking.

Other vehicles must use the detour roads via Saint-Jean Boulevard, Autoroute 20 and Donegani Boulevard. You can consult the detour routes below.  Traffic surveillance is enforced at different times of the day to ensure compliance with signage and the safety of all.

This work is essential to maintain and improve our infrastructure, and the inconvenience it entails is temporary.

For any additional questions or information, please contact the City of Montreal by telephone at 514 872-3777 or by e-mail at info-travaux@montreal.ca
