Activation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at the Central Library

The City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce the opening of new public charging stations for electric vehicles. Four Level 2 charging stations are now available in the parking lot of the Central Library, located at 100 Douglas-Shand Avenue.

This year, 12 additional charging stations will be installed in two other municipal parking lots:

  • Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre;
  • Edgewater Park.

Additionally, we remind you that six charging stations are already available in the parking lots of the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre and the Bob-Birnie Arena.

To optimize use of the charging stations and avoid getting a ticket from the Inspection – Public Security Department, we ask that you respect the charging time limit.

Public charging stations user guide

We invite you to consult the public charging stations user guide. You’ll find essential information on the cost of the charging stations, their locations, and the steps to follow for optimal use.

We thank you for your patience during this activation phase. Our teams are working hard to finalize the roll-out as quickly as possible.
