Activities and summer entertainment for the whole family

Valois Fair

The mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, is pleased to invite residents to enjoy the many activities offered during the Valois Fair, which will take place on Thursday, July 12 starting at 5 p.m., at Valois Park.

“The wide variety of activities will allow everyone to come together for this community event, as well as to relax and have fun in a festive atmosphere,” stated Mayor Belvedere.

Activities include visiting farm animals, having fun in inflatable structures, taking a leap on Eurobungy trampolines, and going on pony rides. A barbecue and a variety of musical, dance, and fire and light performances are also on the program. Acrobats will be walking in the park on stilts, and a magician will amaze young and old.

Every year, young volunteers aged 12 to 16 are involved in this event, helping to organize activities and ensuring they go smoothly, as well as running various interactive stands.

This summer, the park’s splash pad, which was inaugurated last year, will provide a welcome oasis for everyone to cool off. Changing rooms are available next to the facilities.

“This family event brings our community together, strengthens our unity, and helps improve our quality of life,” said Mayor Belvedere in conclusion.

Residents are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, which they can refill at the water station.

In case of rain, the event will be postponed to the following day.
