Boat Launching Ramp at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park – 2025 Season
The City of Pointe-Claire reminds you that a permit is required between June 1 and September 15 to use the boat launch and park a vehicle with a boat trailer in the parking lot at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park. A limited number of permits are available.
Pointe-Claire residents have priority to purchase a permit starting Tuesday, April 8, 2024, at a cost of $31. A second permit for the same address may be obtained after May 23 for $61.
For non-residents, permits will be available starting Tuesday, April 22, on a first-come, first-served basis, at a cost of $195.
All permit applications must be completed online.
A proof of residence with photo, as well as the registration for the trailer used to tow the boat, will be required when applying. If the application shows that the trailer is registered under a company name, an official letter on company letterhead must be provided, stating that only the person holding the permit is authorized to use the trailer.
The permit must be placed close to the trailer hitch. A $15 fee will be charged to replace a lost or damaged permit.
For any change of boat and/or trailer during the season, the permit holder must remove the permit sticker and return it to the City along with the receipt. A replacement fee of $15 will be charged.
Please note that the boat launching ramp and parking lot at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park may not be accessible on June 24 and July 1 (or in case of rain, on June 25 and July 2).
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
