Breakaways – The Stewart Hall Art Gallery welcomes Andréanne Abbondanza-Bergeron
The Stewart Hall Art Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition Breakaways, created by artist Andréanne Abbondanza-Bergeron. The exhibition is available for your viewing pleasure as soon as Saturday, September 9.
Inspired by the atypical architecture of the Stewart Hall Art Gallery on the shores of Lake Saint-Louis, artist Andréanne Abbondanza-Bergeron has created an installation using industrial building materials that occupies the entire exhibition space. Paired with a recent photographic series, and in keeping with the artist’s approach to spatial exploration, Breakaways elegantly evokes the force of water, its flow and movement, and provokes reflection on nature, its beauty and precariousness.
Video clips related to the exhibition, and produced with Andréanne Abbondanza-Bergeron, are available on the Stewart Hall Art Gallery Instagram page.
Citizens are invited to attend the vernissage of the exhibition, which will take place at the Gallery on Sunday, September 10, at 2 p.m.
This new temporary exhibition was made possible thanks to the support of the Friends of Stewart Hall Foundation. It is accessible during the operating hours of the Stewart Hall Art Gallery, and no reservation is required.
