Update: Call for submissions for Bob-Birnie arena canteen extended until September 18

The City of Pointe-Claire is looking for a new food service provider to manage the canteen at the Bob-Birnie arena (58 Maywood Avenue). The deadline for submitting a proposal has been extended until September 18. 

The Bob-Birnie Arena is a central hub for numerous activities, hosting a variety of sporting events and offering diverse programming in partnership with various sports associations. 

To submit a proposal, applicants must provide the required information. Please refer to the previous publication.

Call for submissions: restaurateur for the Bob-Birnie Arena canteen

The City of Pointe-Claire is looking for a new food service supplier for the canteen concession at the Bob-Birnie Arena (58 Maywood Avenue). The goal is to offer a diversified, high-quality culinary offering to visitors, athletes and employees, while enriching the overall experience of arena users.

Throughout the year, the Bob-Birnie Arena hosts numerous sports events and features a diverse program organized in collaboration with various sports associations. Whether for competitive sports or family time, the Bob-Birnie Arena is the destination of choice.

To submit a proposal, candidates must provide the following information:

  • Vision: Describe your vision for the project.
  • Profile of potential tenant: Include information about experience in arenas and sports complexes, in food service, and in building and managing a team of employees.
  • Restaurant presentation: Provide a visual presentation of your concept.
  • Menu proposal and price range: Describe the proposed menu and price ranges.
  • Sustainable development principle: Detail your sustainability practices, including suppliers, local purchasing and use of reusable products.
  • Budget: Submit a detailed budget.
  • Collaboration with the City: Explain how you plan to work with the City.
  • Reasons why Pointe-Claire should choose you: Justify why your proposal is the best option for the City.

A call for submissions is open from August 14 to September 4, to receive applications from interested restaurateurs. Proposals should be sent to the following address: vicky.barnes@pointe-claire.ca
