Update: Cancellation of day camps

The City of Pointe-Claire confirms the cancellation of all its day camps for the summer of 2020 due to the challenges raised by the health and safety guidelines to protect young people, their families and the staff against COVID-19. |
To ensure the health and safety of participants as well as employees in the context of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the City of Pointe-Claire has decided to cancel day camps for summer 2020.
This is a difficult decision because the day camps are very popular, highly attended and appreciated by parents, children and staff alike. The City usually welcomes close to 500 children to these summer camps.
The restrictions related to the new health rules, the staffing challenges raised by the child-instructor ratio, the limits set on the number of children, and the availability of premises have forced us to make this decision to protect the health and safety of children, their families and employees.
