Certain culture, sports and leisure activities resuming on March 26

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that certain culture, sports and leisure activities will resume on March 26 following recent government announcements, subject to instructions and restrictions to limit the spread of the virus.

Bob-Birnie Arena

In addition to the public skating schedule, public stick-and-puck and stick-and-ring activities will be permitted as of March 27 in groups of two or as a family bubble made up of people living at the same address, as well as individual figure skating activities. The changing rooms will remain closed; benches and chairs will be available for putting on and taking off skates.

Registration is required on the LUDIK platform.
Time slots will be available as of March 25.

Aquatic Centre

The weight room will reopen to the public on March 26 by reservation, with a maximum of six people at a time, in compliance with government guidelines.

Recreational swim and lap swim activities are still available for individuals, pairs or family bubbles. The locker rooms are open for a quick change of clothes after the activity. Swimmers are asked to have their bathing suit on before arriving at the pool. Shoes and clothing must be brought to the pool deck. It is recommended to bring bags to store and carry them in.

Registration is required on the LUDIK platform.
Time slots will be available as of March 25.

Beginning March 26, concerts and performances will be offered at the cultural centre, subject to health regulations. Telephone reservations are required and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Events will be added to the calendar on the City’s website as they become available. We invite you to follow the City’s Facebook page to find out about upcoming events.
