Closure of the outdoor rinks and walking paths at the Beaconsfield golf club for the season

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the outdoor rinks and the Beaconsfield Golf Club’s walking and cross-country ski trails are now closed for the season. We have closed these sites due to wide variations in temperature, which prevented us from maintaining ice quality or a big enough sheet of snow for grooming.

Season continues for refrigerated rinks
However, the refrigerated skating rink in Valois Park and the refrigerated skating oval at the intersection of Chemin du Bord-du-lac – Lakeshore Road and Cartier Avenue will remain open. Please check the status of the refrigerated rinks on the Outdoor skating rinks and cross-country skiing page to make sure the rink is open before heading out.

Bob-Birnie Arena
Skating enthusiasts can take advantage of free skating periods at the Bob-Birnie arena. Check the schedule on the arena page of our website.

Special programming will be offered for Spring Break at the arena and in the City’s other sports and cultural facilities. Consult the program: https://www.pointe-claire.ca/en/news/special-programming-for-the-2024-spring-break/

Thank you for your participation in Pointe-Claire’s winter activities!
