Update: Distribution of water saving kits campaign successfully comes to an end

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to thank citizens for their participation and interest in the second annual distribution of water saving kits. Over 200 of these kits, which featured an ecological shower head, a kitchen and bathroom aerator, leak detection pills and Teflon tape, were distributed to help citizens take concrete action to lower their water consumption.

Eco-Nico: Saving water at home and lowering your water consumption is as easy as HONEY:

Have ecological taps installed in your home
Only let water run when necessary
Never water your lawn on rainy days or during periods of drought
Educate others on the importance of saving water
You hear a drip, call a plumber!

We are very proud of the success this campaign, launched in 2023 and renewed in 2024, and how it was received by the citizens of Pointe-Claire.

Thank you for your interest in this campaign and continued efforts to conserve one of our most precious resources: clean drinking water.

Update: Distribution of water saving kits at City Hall

September 16 2024

As of Thursday, September 19, the City of Pointe-Claire will be distributing water saving kits to citizens. This initiative stems from the City’s 2023-2030 Strategic Plan and aims to implement actions to accelerate the ecological transition of the City and the community.

This water saving kit will help citizens take concrete measures to regulate and reduce their water consumption and modify their water usage habits.
