Easter – Schedule for municipal departments
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you about the schedule for municipal departments and activities over Easter.
Administrative departments will be closed from Friday, April 15 to Monday, April 18 inclusive.
Inspection – Public Security
The Inspection – Public Security Department (IPS) will remain open at all times (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and can be contacted at 514 630-1234 or secpub@pointe-claire.ca.
Waste collection
Collection of organic waste, recyclables and leaves scheduled on Monday, April 18 will still be picked up in sectors A and B.
Stewart Hall Cultural Centre
Stewart Hall Cultural Centre will be closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. It will be open on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Families and art lovers are invited to take advantage of the current exhibitions:
- Little Toothed Whale exhibition by Cynthia Girard-Renard at the Art Gallery
- Ode à la nature – La bouture by the artist Marie Malgorn in the Kids’ Corner
- Visions of Stewart Hall: 1885-1963, the permanent exhibition on the history of the Cultural Centre.
Bob-Birnie Arena
Bob-Birnie Arena will be closed on April 15 and 17. However, it will be open on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free skating periods.
Aquatic Centre and weight room
The Aquatic Centre and weight room will be open over Easter but will close their doors at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Lane swimming, family swimming and diving activities are available. Additional time slots have been added. It is not necessary to reserve, except for pickleball. Reservations must be made in advance on the LUDIK platform (http://ludik.pointe-claire.ca/), where you can also view the schedule.
Pointe-Claire Public Library
The Central Library and the Valois branch will be closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. On Saturday, the Central Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Valois branch from 1 to 5 p.m.
